A testament to this was the recent visit of Meek Mill a month ago, which sparked rumors, controversies, and whatnot. Such is the influence of American stars on a global scale.

The latest American celebrity to express interest in Ghanaian showbiz is Tobe Nwigwe. The American actor and rapper expressed his keen interest in collaborating with Ghanaian musicians.

In an exclusive discussion with JoyNews, the Grammy nominee named Stonebwoy, Burna Boy, Asake, and others as creatives he would love to work with.

“Out here in Ghana, Stonebwoy goes crazy with his craft, and in Nigeria, I like Burna, Asake, those boys,” he told Becky.

He concluded by saying that there is a lot coming this year and he is eager to share it with the rest of the world.

In 2023, there will be a lot of activity. We’re going to make connections and close the gap between where we are now and where we want to be.

Kwesi Arthur and Arya Starr were mentioned by Tolu, Tobe’s partner, as some of the people who might work with them in the future.

The rapper, who is also a singer and an actor, co-stars in the Netflix series Mo, and he was nominated for a Grammy at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards for Best New Artist.

He performed for the first time in Ghana at the Black Star Line festival with his pregnant wife, Martica “Fat” Nwigwe.

Ghanaian artists become more well-known as a result, increasing their chances of becoming influential figures in the outside world as well as musicians.
