Government Prioritize To Buy New Presidential Jet

Africa is indeed rich with all-natural resources where leaders are willing to satisfy their self-interest. It has emerged that the government prioritizes buying another jet after several complaints of hardship in Ghana.

The government recently brought a budget urging citizens to corporate with them towards raising enough money for national development.

It got public outcry especially the e-levy that was added to it. Upon the hullabaloo of the budget which was even rejected by the minority in parliament, the government is still on the arrangement to buy a new jet.

The government of Ghana has reported intentions to buy another official jet for presidential activities.

Director of Communications at the administration, Eugene Arhin, says the Defense Minister, Dominic Nitiwul, has effectively started the cycles for Ghana to obtain the new jet as planned.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has experienced harsh criticism from the Member of Parliament from North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who has blamed him for squandering citizens’ cash on recruiting lavish planes for his unfamiliar excursions as opposed to utilizing the current one official stream.

The public authority had clarified that the current official stream was not advantageous for true excursions as it couldn’t take more numbers and had restricted offices for the solace of a president.

Eugene Arhin narrated to a journalist at the Jubilee House on Monday, 27, September 2021 said:

“You remember that as President Kuffour was leaving office in 2008, he pronounce buying 2 jets. He made us understand to get the current Falcon and a larger one. But due to certain reasons, the bigger one was terminated.

That one occurred years ago but now the government has the intention through the Defense minister of getting a larger jet to save problems that may occur”.
