Savanna Signatures a reputable NGO in Tamale is offering full-time recruitment for a qualified candidate to become their Project Manager.
Job Description:
The qualified and qualified person will be in charge of programme implementation and coordinating project activities. The candidate will support the ASBC project activities, and coordinate the project implementation in line with stakeholders and other parties. As a Project Manager, you shall administer project inputs according to the agreed plan, budget, and documentation which follows the policies of Savanna Signatures. All policies in line with other project partners will also be enforced for effective implementation.
Responsibilities as Project Manager
- You will serve as a key member of the project team, supporting project implementation and technical support member.
- Implement Project agreed upon by the organization.
- Provide Technical Assistance in developing and implementing Projects such as WASH projects, malaria programmes, nutrition, family planning, and other social and behavioral change strategies.
- Maintain and manage risk to reduce programmatic disruption in project execution.
Requirements
Minimum qualification in social change communication, public health, social science, community development, or management information system.
- A first degree from an accredited University is a minimum requirement.
- Excellent project management skills.
- A minimum of three years of post-degree experience in project management for community development or social behavior change.
- To accomplish measurable change in important areas of health, including malaria, MNCH, family planning, nutrition, WASH, emerging infectious diseases, and related areas, one has to have knowledge of social and behavior change models and techniques as well as how to practically apply them at the community level.
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically.
- Good English communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
- It would be advantageous to be able to communicate in Buli or Mampruli.
- Outstanding facilitation, interpersonal skills, integrity, resilience/adaptability, and flexibility.
- Proficient at using Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
