The items were procured through the assistance of some Ghanaians to support the victims, he added. After the donation, John Mahama has criticized the government for neglecting the victims in the Volta region.

National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has been able to provide some items to the victims but is inadequate.

NADMO doesn’t have adequate resources and I don’t blame them but I’ll blame the sitting government (NPP) for failing to provide them sufficient resources to help the administration to be able to respond to victims especially this recent incident.
