Our investigations suggest that Mr. Bismark Ansu as of January of this year organized extra classes for his pupils in his own home, citing the need to complete the syllabus for the academic year. Shockingly, these additional classes turned into a nightmare for three unsuspecting girls aged between eight and nine years old.

He disguised his evil intentions as offering academic support but used that as an opportunity to exploit the vulnerability of these young girls, subjecting them to sexual molestations.

Thankfully, the girls are currently receiving treatment, but the scars, both physical and emotional, may linger long after the legal proceedings have concluded. It is imperative that they receive the necessary support, care, and counseling to help them overcome the trauma inflicted upon them.

This tragic episode serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need for increased vigilance and robust protective measures to safeguard our children from such abhorrent acts. It highlights the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment within educational institutions, where children can flourish without fear of exploitation or harm.

Moreover, the involvement of Bismark Ansu as a Ghana National Service Person adds an alarming dimension to this incident. The National Service Scheme is a government initiative aimed at providing tertiary graduates with practical work experience and skills to enhance their employability. Participants in the scheme are expected to adhere to high ethical standards and conduct themselves with utmost professionalism.

The accusation against Ansu brings to light the breach of trust and the severe consequences when individuals abuse their positions of authority. It is essential that the Ghana National Service Scheme continues to emphasize the importance of maintaining high standards and ethical conduct among its participants.

As a society, we must unite in condemning such atrocities and work tirelessly to educate and empower young girls and boys, teaching them about their rights, consent, and the importance of speaking out against any form of abuse. Only then can we hope to eradicate the darkness that threatens to shatter the innocence of our children and hinder their educational pursuits. Let this be a clarion call to stand against defilement and protect the future of our nation’s children.
